The Organs

Our students have access to a great collection of pipe organs.

The majority of our classes and recitals take place in Oundle and surrounding villages. The organs we use regularly are:

  • 3-manual and pedal Frobenius in Oundle School Chapel
  • 2-manual and pedal Bower in Jesus Church, Oundle
  • 2-manual and pedal Woodstock in Fotheringhay Church
  • 2-manual and pedal Harrison & Harrison in Woodnewton Church
  • 2-manual and pedal Lewis in Elton Church
  • 3-manual Father Smith in Finedon Church
  • 2-manual Lewis in Titchmarsh Church
  • 2-manual Grant, Degens and Bradbeer in Warmington Church

Young Organisists Course Trip to Cambridge
Further afield, we take students on visits to Peterborough and Cambridge. The specific venues we visit each year vary, but in the past we have been to:

  • Peterborough Cathedral
  • Trinity College, Cambridge
  • King’s College, Cambridge
  • Trinity Hall College, Cambridge
  • Selwyn College, Cambridge
  • Jesus College, Cambridge
  • Downing College, Cambridge

Creative Oundle for Organists is immensely grateful for the support of all the venues that allow us use of their instruments and spaces for teaching students, as well as performing recitals.
